Hi Carol

I know that you know it works, that’s why you sell it, but I have the quietest, sweetest, calmest, coolest pair of TB’s from opposite ends of the spectrum. Young and silly and old and troubled. The older boy has been out on the road and is absolutely raring to go (I’d say previous younger rider might have got a fright somehow and worried him as well and they had a vicious circle going on.) He is so keen to go, he drags me through the gate. As for men, we haven’t met any yet, but we will and his attitude is so different I expect a much better response.

The young TB has just been through 2-3 days of wild wet weather and is really really calm.

So, thank you, it’s a great product.

Hi Carol

I just wanted to say thank you for your excellent products - they have played a really important part in the rehabilitation of a rescue filly, Stella.  Stella was starving when she came to me, and in the early days she (not surprisingly) had some digestive issues - your slippery elm was a great help in getting her tummy working properly. Your chamomile has also been great, both to maintain her digestive health, and also to help relax a very nervous young horse whose interaction with humans had been completely negative. 

I have also had great results with your Timesaver formula with Stella. While her condition had improved since I got her, she was still not looking as bright as she could have been. However, since she has been on Timesaver, she has blossomed and now has a radiant coat and bright eyes.  I have attached some photos - you would never guess she had such a hard start to life!  Again, thank you for your products (a range of which I use on all my horses) - it is great to find something that has made a real difference.

Dear Country Park Herbs,

I would like to thank you for recommending Attitude Blend for my for gelding. I was so upset at his stallion like behaviour that I thought I was going to have to live with it forever. Attitude Blend every day  and the restriction of clover in his diet have turned him into a sweet gelding.  Amazingly he no longer mounts the mares he lives with when they are in season. Thank you again and I would recommend it to anyone.

My OTTB mare has had some health issues since sustaining an injury to her leg. This injury and infection affected her in many ways. The main issue was that her hoof walls appeared to suffer and the hoofs deteriorated. We tried several different products with no success. She was lame whenever she lost a shoe and had no real hoof wall to keep one on.  I got hold of the timesaver 1 product and after a discussion with Carol we agreed to give this product a go. Well after a month you can notice the difference and even the farrier has agreed that there is an improvement in the hoofs. She has a fantastic shine and is in the best condition since we got her just over a year ago.

Thanks to carol and country park for this great product which is easier for everyday use.

I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic result I have had with Attitude Blend and the difference I have seen in my horse within two weeks of starting him on it once a day. He is a warmblood but still quite immature at 7 y/o and has been through fairly traumatic sugery twice since January 2008 to remove tumours/cysts from his sinus cavity leaving him with a few trust and other issues . He is also a total busy body and much more interested in what everyone else is doing but yet the first to "leave town" if he gets a fright! I took him out on Sunday for the first time in months and he was unbelievably calm and attentive all day. I can honestly say it was the first time I have thoroughly enjoyed riding a dressage test on him and actually had fun being out.

I am writing to let you know how thrilled I am with your Retirement Blend and the difference it has made to my 33 year old Appaloosa gelding Charlie. 


Over the past few years, Charlie's arthritis has become more severe, and I was relying on injections and painkillers to keep him comfortable on his occasional 'bad days'. He was still alert and happy but I was beginning to wonder how he would cope coming into another winter.
 
Shortly before commencing Charlie on his herbs, he became listless, rapidly lost weight and was noticeably more stiff and uncomfortable. He no longer came straight up to his feed bin, and began to leave his feed behind (a first for him).  Having had success with natural therapies myself (and having tried just about everything else!) I searched for a more natural product to help Charlie feel more comfortable and ease the pain from his arthritis and found Country Park Animal Herbs.

The day the Retirement Blend arrived, I put a handful of the herbs in his feed bucket, and to my suprise was almost bowled over as Charlie dug straight in (he's a very fussy eater). I was prepared to give it a month to see results, however after only 6 days, he was visibly 'brighter' and on day 7, he met me with his familiar whuffle and stood impatiently at his feed bin.
 
By the end of the his first month on Retirement Blend, he was back to his cheeky self and his freedom of movement had improved greatly. He is now, once again, the first in the stables to wait for his meals and licks his feed bin clean everytime. He even managed a canter around his paddock the other day, which is something that I hadn't seen for months.

I am so grateful to Country Park Animal Herbs for giving me my best friend back, and making his retirement years more comfortable.
 
I can happily say that Country Park Animal Herbs offer excellent service and quality products that work - I will continue to use the Retirement Blend for Charlie and have recommended CP to all my friends.

Winter Blend

I am the owner of a 22-year-old thoroughbred long since retired from  competition but still in light work.  I was wanting to keep him as healthy as possible particularly during the colder months so I contacted Country Park Animal Herbs.  They suggested a product called their Winter Blend.

Since using this product I have noticed that  he is moving with greater freedom  and seems much happier when being worked. He eats the blend straight from my hand or I can mix it in his feed.  The quality of their herbs is always fantastic and the service is great.

I would like to thank you and Country Park Herbs for the great advice, help and quick delivery that I receive each time I order my herbs through you. Also I would like to put forward about how much of a difference the attitude blend has made to my two young horses. One being a Anglo Arab very dominant and bossy.  It has sorted out her hormones and turned her into a really nice horse to be around. My other mare being a Clydie Stock horse cross was nervous and standoffish, but now she is forward and still a bit nervous but with the attitude blend she is more thinking than just reacting as she was before I put her on the Attitude Blend.  She is so much easier to teach and train.  

I also use your Timesaver 1 Blend and it is great.  Both my horses have darkened and are so much more shinier in the coat and healthy looking even now with it coming into winter.  It is so easy to feed them;  you put one cup in their feed and they have all the minerals and what not that they need rather than 1 scoop of this and 1 scoop of that.   They have just bloomed on this as well and it actually works out so much cheaper than buying everything singularly and is exactly what it says -   a timesaver. I was a bit sceptic at first but not now with seeing the difference that both of these blends have made to my horses has sold me for life. And one very important fact. 

I don't have any trouble with getting them to eat either blend they love the taste of both which is a major factor to me as I have tried other stuff only to have my Clydie take one mouthful and then throw her bucket of feed away. With these mixes she is licking the bucket totally clean. Thank you again for the great job you are doing with the herbs.    Jayn

I'm just writing to say thankyou to you and your friendly staff for your awesome service and advice!

My horse Texas is a 20 yr old tb gelding and coming out of this winter he had dropped a lot of weight and his coat was dead, things where further complicated by the fact that he is losing his sight and nearly blind.

He was completely off his feed and I thought we would lose him but after some advice from you and starting him on your appetiser and summer blends the difference is amazing!

He is fat and shiny and runs around like a 2 yr old again, people who met him are amazed at how well he looks and cant believe he is about to turn 21!

I give you my heartfelt thanks I believe that without your expert advice and products Texas would not be with us today.

In mid April I emailed Ruth at Country Park, Qld with a couple of questions concerning my two thoroughbred horses aged 9 and 12.  Every Winter they seemed to get colds and coughs and I was wanting to know if there was anything that would give them some sort of ‘protection’ or help them get through the winter without the usual illnesses.  Ruth explained to me the benefits of a natural diet in the prevention of illness, and also that CP were trialling different blends, and that they had an Autumn blend designed for just such a purpose as what I was seeking for my two lovely boys.  I began a feeding regime which included garlic, rosehips, cold pressed linseed oil and other products, and also the Autumn Blend.

It is quite remarkable now, just a few months down the track, to see how healthy and ‘gleaming’ they both are.  As yet, touch wood, no coughs, no runny noses, just two gorgeous boys.  I really want to thank CP for their Autumn Blend, as I truly believe it is working a treat on my horses – along with the natural diet.  Congratulations on launching the blends, and every success to you.

Dear Carol,
Just a quick note to say "Thanks" so much for sending the "Appetiser" blend for our TB *Nate*. It looks & smells really great - I think I could even eat it - not that I need it!!! It is working really well & Nate is now eating a lot more enthusiastically than he was. I am not used to seeing the bottom of the feed bin with him so it is pleasant surprise!!! The herbs that Catherine has prescribed seem to be starting to kick in so here's hoping that everything works together and soon he looks like a new improved horse!!  Now if you could only come up with the reverse blend for fat ponies that won't stop eating that we could give to our porky pony *Roy* then I would be a truly happy woman!!! I'll try to get organsied & send you a digital photo so you can see what Nate looks like when he puts on a bit more weight & looks a bit nicer. Thanks again for all your help & patience - it is truly appreciated!!!

I have been using the Country Park Retirement Blend for nearly two years after Carol recommended I give it a try for my tired old hack.  Oliver had been sick on and off for some time and he was really starting to show his age - he was 26 at the time and had been used as a school horse for years before I bought him about twelve months previously.  I was starting to think his time might be drawing to an end.  Just a few weeks after I began using the retirement blend as part of his daily feed, I noticed a difference in his movement, attitude and general well-being, he was happier in himself and moving much more freely.  I've never looked back - Oliver is now 28 years young and looks a million dollars (he's actually a little fat at the moment on a handful of feed and his herbs daily).  I even sit on him occasionally and he doesn't seem to mind at all.  Thank you Carol for Oliver's new lease on life and the extra time I'm having with him.
